Hello :)
I know I've been away for so long... And haven't been blogging. It's time for an update!
Last few months I was crook with crohns (yep it came back with a vengeance, since my operation, it's in 2 meters of small intestine now! Yikes) but I am back on some strong drugs which induced me back in to remission, and I am so glad to be feeling well again! I'll be honest. Most of the year so far, I didn't even want to think about doing jewellery. Thinking about thinking about doing jewellery would make me depressed. I guess everyone has these creative blocks? I'm pretty sure being sick didn't help! But now I am feeling like creating again !

I'm currently at my family home in Marlborough as my boyfriend is working for my dad crayfishing! Pretty cray-z for someone who wants to be an animator :P
SOO.... I can't make at the moment! So what do I do? Become obsessed with game of thrones (best show EVER!), cooking, and pinterest haha.. Oh and also... My sister is engaged! So I've been looking up lots of wedding stuff! Fun fun!

I am obsessed with this dress.. It's absolutely amazing.. I want it so bad!

In other news I am finally off my wretched steroids so I'm not as hungry as a horse thank god! (speaking of horses, war horse was an excellent movie! I was so cynical going to the theatre to see it but it was so good I'm so glad I did!) I've also been sick the last couple weeks on and off which is a bit annoying, must be some bug I caught I think, plus my tummy issues. But I can't complain!

Key Lime Pie Nom nom nom

Yesterday, i made the most amazing Key lime pie. Thanks to the lovely Nigella!

Excuse the pics i have been having afternoon naps and i look a bit like a nutter! I am now looking for other pie recipes, partucularly with a crumb crust. If anyone knows any good suggestions that would be great! here in NZ we don't really have many pie recipes, just like lemon meringue, apple, mince pie... etc. blahhhh

Anyway this seems to be a food related post. as my life seems to be revolved around food at the moment! It is funny. You can really take things like enjoying a meal for granted. When i am in flare with crohns, even a small one - it is really hard to enjoy any food, as it causes such pain. Being a foodie this can be a huge problem! It really dampens your spirit not being able to enjoy the things you love. So lately i guess i have been taking full advantage of the fact i am well and can enjoy food, so ive been cooking and baking up a storm! I will have to stop some time though as i am getting a bit much holiday flab for my liking... oh well! Enjoy life while you can i say!

I bought the coolest Cuisinart Ice Cream maker, in a bright red colour and have been experimenting with flavours. it seems every second ice cream i make is amazing! I have made Hazelnut (Failure - couldnt grind the hazelnuts fine enough so it was too nutty), Boysenberry ice cream (AHHH MAZING!), Peanut butter and strawberry (Failure as the recipe curdled and went horrible), and blueberry and blackberry frozen yoghurt which has been amazing! I love summer, the fruits and berries are so delicious ... it seems a crime to not incorporate them in everything! YUM!

We went to christchurch for a couple of days so i could see my surgeon - he said everything was going GREAT and the pain i have been getting after and during my trip was definately adhesions, which should sort themselves out within a year. It seems flying may have agitated them quite a bit.

In christchurch andrews lovely parents took us to the most GORGEOUS cafe called Sweethearts which is on a berry farm (You can literally pick berries from your table! YUM), and all thier meals have berries! It is soooooo delicious! Here are a couple of photos of the food ! It would be such a cute place to have a small wedding or something... :D

Yum yum... Anyway all this talk of food, i better actually go and cook dinner. Dont worry, I will get back to jewellery posts soon...

Well today it is pouring down with rain and i am craving fish and chips! Nom nom nom...

I have been listening (To death) to the new Black keys album for the past two weeks, non stop as it is so INSANELY awesome. My man bought it for me for Christmas and i am sure he must be starting to regret it as i am thrashing it haha.

BACK! Finally!

Hello my lovely munchkins!

I am SO sorry i have been the worst blogger EVER! I just got back from christmas and new years at my parents new house in marlborough, which was awesome! They live on a vineyard and it is such an awesome house. Mind you they did a bloody great job as it looked crap beforehand!

My store is open fully again so i am ready to make again!

We got back from our big US and UK trip on the 14th of december, was totally knackered and had Bad bad guts pains (Due to surgery - i aquired some lovely adhesions which cause blockage and mega pain and vomiting! ERGH!). I think the flying may have effected my guts? Dunno.

Anyway our trip was SOOOOO Amazing, We did so much, saw so much.. Ate so much!! yum. I love food (Omg can you tell i am on steroids? Dr put me on them for the pain and they make me so hungry! Not to mention my face is so puffy. ick.)

Anyway im cutting this short as i am pretty tired, I just wanted to post a few pics of the trip :)

12 days till our "mega awesome trip!"

AHH!! SO. The boyfriend and i are just fizzing at the bum at the moment. We are so psyched! Only 12 days till we leave for our trip to the US and UK! First off we will be stopping off in Sacramento for a few nights, to see some friends! and then we are off to Orlando to go Theme-Park-Ape-Shit. Then off to New orleans for some culture and awesome food! Yuuummay! then we fly to London, where i plan to do some serious shopping, staying with the BF's Sister, a wee excursion to Paris for a 4 nights! (I am planning on visiting Nicholas Flamel's House which is said to be the oldest house in Paris and is now a Restaurant).

thats a very condensed version of what we are doing. haha. Anyway i have been busy filling orders, and spending hundreds of dollars at the post shop, trying to stock my store (But unsuccessfully as i keep selling everything!) So i am going to have my head down when i get some castings next week and make tons so there is still stuff to buy from my store for the XMAS rush! :)

So my store will be open for one more week on Made-To-Order, then i will change it to whats in stock. Just a week tip, i wont be making much teeth jewellery to have in stock, so if you want any teeth jewellery for Xmas, buy buy buy!
